I was surprised when I opened the window of my blog and discovered an outpouring of comfort. If you consider a few tags a lot of comfort. Anyway, I appreciate the concern. I am neither sad nor suicidal, thanks very much. It’s just good to vent your frustrations sometimes, cannot always be some happy weird freak. Really, I just felt quite strongly towards certain people’s behaviour and that’s all. A form of balance is needed after all, which is why I’m gonna start on some really angsty stories soon, thanks to my inspiration from Picoult novels.
Stanford is as dire as usual. But I admit that I like writing essays. There was one where we had to imagine ourselves at the age of 70+, and I said that I would be abused by my maniacal husband. & end up in prison after stabbing him in the stomach. HAHAHA. I have this premonition that I will end up leading a very weird life. Although I most probably won’t get married and I definitely won’t end up killing someone! It was more fun writing from the inside of a prison cell than from some retiring home.
Currently, I have a new obsession… CSI NY!!!! I don’t see how I could have wasted my time on Korean dramas which are oh so boring when CSI was there all along. Always been quite interested in CSI Miami, but the character development is weak and the blonde/redhead main lead is off-putting. Courtesy of Baihui, who brought it over on Saturday for us to watch. Now I understand why the girl is willing to spend $100+ of her Christmas fund on it. I will probably get it from Malaysia. The unpirated version.
Crime is so bloody cool! Not the results of it, but the process of how people trace the perpetrator and the DNA bits. There was an episode where they dissected a rat to find a bullet inside. The dead people are all fake – they are actually living, breathing people. In one episode, the stage make-up was very convincing.. the girl’s face was all mouldy and green and decomposing.
So we watched 7 episodes of CSI:NY the whole day. Rachel T, Kewei, Baihui and yours truly. There are even books on CSI, have to read.
